-Must be at least 16 years of age
-Experience and Education a plus
-Willingness to continue training
Child Care Teachers: Infant/Toddler
-HS Diploma/equivalency or successful completion of college course for credit
-90 hours of approved early childhood coursework and 45 hours of approved infant/toddler coursework OR 90 hours of coursework specific in infant/toddler
-1 year of experience working with infant/toddlers and/or preschoolers in an approved setting
-Willingness to continue training
-At least 19 years of age
Child Care Teacher: Preschool
-HS Diploma/equivalency or successful completion of college course for credit
-90 hours of approved early childhood coursework
-1 year of experience working with preschoolers in an approved setting
-Willingness to continue training
-At least 19 years of age
Childcare Teacher: School Age
-HS Diploma/equivalency or successful completion of college course for credit
-90 hours of approved early childhood coursework
-45 hours of approved school-age coursework
-1 year of experience working with preschoolers and/or school age children in an approved setting
-Willingness to continue training
-At least 19 years of age
Here at Best Buddies we strive to provide a happy, healthy, and positive environment for all team members and children! All staff is required to enroll and participate in the Maryland Excels and Credentialing program within 6 months of employment, which gives them the opportunity to obtain a grant to complete their degree in Early Childhood Education through the Child Care Professionals Grant Program with MSDE!
